One Piece Chapter 1192 spoilers are finally here, and Oda has wasted absolutely no time getting back to the fight that has been sitting at the centre of the Elbaf Arc.
Chapter 1191 ended with one of the most ridiculous combinations imaginable: Luffy, Loki and Hajrudin standing together against Imu. Gaban had already warned Luffy that this wasn't a fight they could simply win, yet Luffy, being Luffy, wasn't exactly interested in running away.
Now Chapter 1192 reportedly picks up from that confrontation, and things get even stranger.
Imu is sent flying.
Luffy and Loki chase after him.
Usopp finally gets his moment.
And then Luffy unleashes a new Gear 5 attack called “Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Bullet.”
The attack punches straight through Imu's defence — but the most interesting detail comes immediately afterwards.
Imu's stomach stretches.
Yes. Like rubber.
And if the early spoilers are accurate, that tiny detail may be much more important than the attack itself.
One Piece Chapter 1192: The spoilers at a glance
Before getting into what all of this could mean, here's what the current spoiler reports are saying.
Chapter 1192 is reportedly titled “We Will Never Forgive.”
The cover apparently features Franky with several dogs.
The main story continues directly from the battle with Imu, who is sent flying while Luffy and Loki pursue him. Imu then reveals a defensive ability called the Shield of Emptiness, which initially stops Luffy's attack and even causes Luffy's hand to bleed.
Usopp also appears alongside Hajrudin and delivers one of the chapter's more important lines, essentially making it clear that the Straw Hats will not accept anyone taking away Luffy's freedom simply because he is needed to save Elbaf.
Then things get very Oda.
Luffy uses Loki's hammer as part of an attack, with Loki swinging the weapon and sending Luffy flying along with lightning.
The resulting attack is Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Bullet, which reportedly breaks through Imu's Shield of Emptiness and hits him hard enough to send his eyes white.
But Imu doesn't react like a normal character. His stomach stretches — as if it were made of rubber.
Imu's Shield of Emptiness might be the real reveal
Luffy has spent the entire fight trying to overcome Imu's ridiculous power, and Chapter 1192 apparently introduces another layer to the problem.
The Shield of Emptiness initially blocks Luffy's attack. That's important because we've reached a point in the story where simply throwing a stronger Gear 5 punch at an opponent isn't necessarily enough. Imu has already been established as someone operating on a completely different level.
But Luffy eventually gets through it — not with a standard punch, but by utilizing Loki's hammer and lightning as part of the attack before launching the Dawn Thor Bullet.
Luffy and Loki are becoming a genuinely dangerous combination
One of the most enjoyable things about the current fight is how strange the partnership looks. Luffy and Loki aren't exactly two people you would expect to work together, yet here they are fighting Imu side by side.
And then Usopp finally speaks up
For many readers, this might actually be one of the most satisfying parts of Chapter 1192. Usopp reportedly tells Gaban that he doesn't care whether Luffy is Nika, Joy Boy or connected to Gol D. Roger's legacy — what matters to him is that Luffy is his captain.
But here's the detail that could become huge: Imu's body stretches
Luffy hits Imu with Dawn Thor Bullet, and Imu's stomach apparently stretches like rubber. Is it a Devil Fruit? Is it connected to Imu's mysterious transformation? Or is Oda drawing a parallel between Nika and Imu?
