Netflix has confirmed new characters including Etsuko Satoda, Amane Yotsumura and Satoru Yatsumura, while the first look at the season teases a much wider cast and a more serious conflict. For a series that can turn a convenience-store fight into an elaborate action sequence, that is a very good sign.
