Chapter 3 of PRANA marks the moment when the series truly reveals its hand. Having spent two chapters building careful intrigue, creator begins to unveil the deeper architecture of this world — the rules of the energy system, the ancient powers at play, and the reason why Dattu's encounter with Avisa was no accident.

The hidden realm introduced in Chapter 2 comes into far sharper focus here. We begin to understand that what Dattu has stumbled into is not simply a supernatural encounter but something that connects to forces ancient beyond reckoning. The comic draws on Indian spiritual philosophy — the concept of prana itself, the vital life force that flows through all living things — and begins to build its own unique mythology on top of these foundations.

Dattu's character undergoes significant development in Chapter 3. Confronted with truths he cannot dismiss or rationalize away, he begins to transform from a passive observer into someone grappling actively with his new reality. The questions he asks are the right ones; the answers he receives are never quite what he expected.

Avisa's role becomes more complex here too. Her relationship with Dattu deepens, revealing layers of purpose and urgency beneath her careful exterior. Secrets within secrets begin to emerge, and the sense of a larger, more dangerous world pressing in from the edges grows stronger with every page.

Visually, Chapter 3 is where the artist's ambition reaches its highest point so far — panel layouts grow more dynamic, the action more kinetic, and the spiritual imagery more striking. This is Indian indie comics storytelling at its most confident and compelling.
