The GTA 6 leak saga has taken another strange turn.
After spending the last several days releasing short clips from what appears to be an unfinished build of Grand Theft Auto VI, the group known as CyberLeek has now released footage showing Jason Duval visiting what appears to be a nudist settlement at night.
The roughly two-minute clip is very different from the driving and combat footage that came before it. Jason can be seen exploring a poolside area populated by numerous nude NPCs before the situation, predictably for GTA, turns violent.
But the nudist-town footage itself may not even be the biggest development.
CyberLeek is now threatening to release footage from Lucia's prologue.
That would take the GTA 6 leaks from gameplay spoilers into potentially major story spoilers.
And with Rockstar's official GTA 6: An Extended Look scheduled for August 27, the timing could hardly be more awkward.

Jason's latest leaked trip is unlike the previous footage
The newest clip shows Jason travelling to a location that appears to be a nudist community or resort.
The setting itself is surprisingly detailed.
There is a pool, surrounding buildings, multiple NPCs and a variety of character models. The footage gives another glimpse at the sheer amount of environmental and character detail Rockstar is putting into Leonida.
But things don't stay peaceful for long.
Jason eventually opens fire, turning what initially looks like an exploration sequence into the sort of chaotic encounter GTA players have come to expect.
What makes the clip interesting isn't simply the shock value.
It gives fans another look at how Rockstar is handling NPC behaviour, character models, lighting and environmental detail in GTA 6.
And, as has happened with the previous CyberLeek footage, the clip has quickly become another piece of the growing puzzle surrounding the game.
But the real bombshell came after the video
The nudist-town footage would have been enough to generate headlines on its own.
CyberLeek then added another message.
The group is reportedly asking fans whether they want to see a Lucia-led prologue, suggesting that footage from the beginning of the game could be released next. A new poll reportedly asks users directly whether they want to see Lucia's prologue.
This is a much bigger deal than another Jason gameplay clip.
Jason has already appeared repeatedly in the leaked footage.
Lucia hasn't.
So far, most of the material has given fans a look at Jason's side of the game and various open-world systems.
A Lucia prologue could potentially reveal how GTA 6 begins, how her character is introduced and what happens before the events we've seen in the trailers.
That's the point where leaks stop being merely interesting gameplay discoveries and start becoming potentially serious spoilers.
We may already have evidence that Lucia is present in the leaked build
Interestingly, there may already be a small clue that Lucia is not completely outside the material CyberLeek has access to.
One of the recently circulated clips includes an objective reportedly reading “Return to Lucia.”
That doesn't reveal a major story event by itself, but it is significant because it suggests that the build being shown isn't limited entirely to Jason's isolated gameplay.
And that makes CyberLeek's latest threat considerably more believable.
If the group really does have access to portions of Lucia's early-game content, Rockstar could potentially be dealing with something much more damaging than random gameplay footage.
Why the Lucia prologue would be a big deal
Rockstar has been extremely careful about Lucia.
The trailers have shown her relationship with Jason and established the basic premise of their partnership, but large portions of her story remain unknown.
The prologue is particularly sensitive because opening sections of a game normally establish:
- the protagonist's circumstances
- important characters
- the game's initial setting
- the basic gameplay loop
- early story motivations
- relationships between major characters
If CyberLeek releases substantial footage from that section, fans could learn things Rockstar has deliberately kept secret until launch.
And once that material is online, Rockstar won't be able to completely put it back in the box.
CyberLeek is turning the leaks into a bizarre campaign
There's another unusual part to this whole situation.
CyberLeek isn't simply dumping footage online.
The group has been using its posts to promote its own cryptocurrency and has previously encouraged users to vote on what footage should be released next.
Now the group is reportedly doing something similar with the Lucia material.
Its latest message reportedly asks whether fans actually want to see the Lucia prologue and includes an unusual demand involving supporters appearing outside Take-Two/Rockstar offices dressed as leeks.
It's difficult to know how seriously to take these demands.
But the underlying threat is straightforward: CyberLeek claims it has more GTA 6 footage and is deciding what to release next.
Rockstar is already trying to stop the leaks
Take-Two isn't sitting back and watching this happen.
The company has already issued copyright takedowns against leaked GTA 6 material.
More significantly, Take-Two has reportedly taken legal steps to identify the people behind the CyberLeek operation.
The company filed subpoenas targeting Microsoft and Discord, seeking information that could help identify individuals connected to the distribution of the leaked material.
That represents a significant escalation.
Removing individual videos is one thing. Finding the people responsible is another.
The problem for Rockstar is that the footage has already spread across the internet, meaning even if CyberLeek disappears tomorrow, copies of the material will continue circulating.
Is this actually a playable GTA 6 build?
That's still not completely clear.
The footage strongly suggests that whoever is behind the leaks has access to a development environment where Jason can be freely controlled.
One earlier clip even showed the player flying a plane and firing bullets into a wall to spell “LEEK.” That was widely interpreted as evidence that the leaker had access to a playable build rather than simply possessing pre-recorded Rockstar footage.
But there is an important distinction.
A playable development build isn't necessarily the final GTA 6. The leaked material could be months old. Features can be changed. Missions can be rewritten. Characters can be redesigned. Dialogue can be replaced. Even entire sections of a game can be removed during development.
So fans shouldn't assume that every detail visible in these videos will appear exactly the same in the final release.
The leaks are getting increasingly difficult to ignore
What's remarkable is how quickly the situation has developed.
It started with Jason playing basketball and a couple of short gameplay clips. Then came driving footage. Then aircraft footage. Then a much larger look at the game's map and various gameplay systems. Now we're seeing Jason in unusual locations such as the nudist settlement. And the next potential step is Lucia's prologue.
That's a very different level of leak.
If that footage appears, it could potentially reveal story information that Rockstar has spent years protecting.
And Rockstar has its own reveal coming in two days
The timing makes this whole situation even stranger.
Rockstar is preparing to show the world its official GTA 6 Extended Look on August 27. The company has carefully controlled almost every major GTA 6 reveal so far. Now CyberLeek is effectively trying to get ahead of that marketing campaign.
Rockstar wants fans to see GTA 6 through its own presentation. CyberLeek is giving fans something completely different: unfinished gameplay, random encounters and pieces of the game that Rockstar never intended to show yet.
The August 27 presentation therefore becomes even more interesting. It could show how much the leaked build has changed. It could reveal locations and mechanics that haven't appeared in the leaks. And, perhaps most importantly, it could give fans something the leaked videos cannot: context.
The real concern now isn't another Jason video
At this point, another Jason driving clip probably isn't going to shock anyone. We've already seen plenty of that. The real concern is story content.
If CyberLeek genuinely has Lucia's prologue, then the next leak could be the first one that significantly changes what fans know about GTA 6's narrative. And if the group has access to the beginning of the game, there's an obvious question: How much of the rest of the story can they access?
That's something nobody outside Rockstar and the people responsible for the leak can currently answer.
GTA 6's biggest leak may still be ahead
The latest nudist-town footage is certainly bizarre, but it may ultimately be remembered as just another piece of the much larger leak saga.
The Lucia threat is different. It potentially crosses the line from “here's another thing you can do in GTA 6” to “here's something Rockstar doesn't want you to know about the story.”
And that's exactly why the next few days could be particularly important. Rockstar is about to show GTA 6 officially. CyberLeek is threatening to show Lucia's prologue unofficially. Take-Two is trying to identify the source. And millions of fans are watching to see what happens next.
